faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God… When the
perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is
written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in the victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O
death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives
us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You Have the Victory to Win in Life

Let Me explain sovereignty – supreme power and authority.

God is sovereign. There is nothing He cannot do.

Indeed, there is nothing He does not know. There is no place He cannot go. God is the coach AND the referee. He knows the game plan. God makes all the rules and all the calls.

Yes, there is evil in the world wreaking havoc. But, this havoc wreaked will end in God’s glory – His victory and your victory. He wins! We win!

Your turn …

On paper or play in your mind, item by item, list the circumstances or obstacles that are now seemingly in your way of victory.

Cover each item with this truth. I can’t but My God can. His victory is my victory.

Do this over and over until you not only believe but also know this truth and feel the power of it surging through your body.

Keep this truth handy for all the next times.

“Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of His Name; make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is Your power that your enemies cringe before You. How to do this as a weekly Bible study

Day One: Experience
Read the entire devotion. Do any verses stand out to you? If so, write it down and work on memorizing it over the week. I personally love the app “Scripture Typer.”

Day Two: Observe & Read
Chain. Look up and chain verses (For example on how to chain verses, see this video).

Day Three: Interpret
Read through the chain of verses starting with the first one. What do they say? Do you notice when it says “never” or “always” or “If, but, however, therefore, all…..”

Day Four: Application
Do “Your turn” and make a list of people that God has put on your heart when you read this.

Day Five: Testify
Who in your life, right now, can you share this with? There is somebody in your life that needs to hear this. Close your eyes. What name came to mind?
