The Wisdom of God
“And you, My son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve Him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever…
Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of Him who has perfect knowledge?…
From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind; from His dwelling place, He watches all who live on earth—He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do…
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account… Whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything”
1 Chronicles 28:9; Job 37:16; Psalm 33:13-15; Hebrews 4:13; 1 John 3:20
Enlightening scriptures about the wisdom of God
God is omniscient.
He has infinite awareness, understanding, and insight.
God possesses universal and complete knowledge of all that is, that was and that will be.
Maybe you want to know why you should bother then if He already knows?
God will tell you and you must listen and believe – relationship.
It is all about a complete, honest and an all-encompassing trustworthy relationship.
One day, you will be able to understand completely and know.
Until this Day, you must proceed in faith believing God is who He says He is and can do what He says He can do.
Your turn …
Meditate on God’s words and ask yourself what you think He may not know.
Acknowledge this doubt and cover it with My God Knows!
Make this a habit of intent.
Your doubts will dissipate and your life will be filled with more confidence and intent.
Now come and pray joyfully …
“Before a word is on my tongue You know it completely, O LORD… He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our LORD and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit… Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out!”
Psalm 139:4, 147:4-5; Romans 11:33
“Who can fathom the Spirit of the LORD, or instruct the LORD as His counselor? Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten Him, and who taught Him the right way?
Who was it that taught Him knowledge, or showed Him the path of understanding?
Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me. And, I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. Indeed, I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please”
Isaiah 40:13-4, 46:9-10
How to do this as a weekly Bible study
Day One: Experience
Read the entire devotion. Do any verses stand out to you? If so, write it down and work on memorizing it over the week. I personally love the app “Scripture Typer.”
Day Two: Observe & Read
Chain. Look up and chain verses (For example on how to chain verses, see this video).
Day Three: Interpret
Read through the chain of verses starting with the first one. What do they say? Do you notice when it says “never” or “always” or “If, but, however, therefore, all…..”
Day Four: Application
Do “Your turn” and make a list of people that God has put on your heart when you read this.
Day Five: Testify
Who in your life, right now, can you share this with? There is somebody in your life that needs to hear this. Close your eyes. What name came to mind?
Would you like to get more involved in the beLydia Movement?
Parents and friends, there are kids being sold for sex right now and they are still going to school and their parents have no idea.
They are being tricked, (often through social media and texting apps) into sharing compromising photos and then trapped into selling more or are tricked into having sex.
WE CAN PREVENT THIS THROUGH SHARING AWARENESS.
