Do You Know God’s Plan for Your Life?

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us
to do…In a large house, there are articles not only of gold and silver but also of wood and clay; some are for
special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be
instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.”

Ephesians 2:10; 2 Timothy 2:20-21

Do You Know God’s Plan for Your Life? He has told us that He does - have plans for us. In fact, He has an entire list of works for you to do - important tasks for you to do for others and for His kingdom. #plans #Godswill

Do You Know God’s Plan for Your Life?

Do you believe God has plans for your life?

He has told us that He does – have plans for us.

In fact, He has an entire list of works for you to do – important tasks for you to do for others and for His kingdom.

Our Heavenly Father took special care in creating you and you have all you need. He has arranged the circumstances and timing perfectly for you to accomplish everything He has destined for you to do.

If you listen to what the world tells you, you will prioritize different tasks. Some will seem more important and more prestigious because money and fame are attached. God doesn’t work that way.

There is no task more important than another. If it needs to be done, it is critical to His kingdom. Do not let the world define the worth of what you do.

He has already determined your works worth – essential!

Your turn

What are your work goals?

List them on paper or in your mind. Have you taken them to the throne?

Take them to the Lord and remember the following … “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans…Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 16:3, 19:21

Now the next time, you head out before checking with God, STOP! Go to Him, and He will send you out.
Then, and only then you will succeed, every time.

Now, let’s pray this through

“In You, LORD my God, I put my trust…Show me Your ways, LORD, teach me Your
paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.”

Psalm 25:1,4-5

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last…And who
knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?… And whatever you do, whether
in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

John 15:16; Esther 4:14; Colossians 3:17

God is your greatest supporter!

How to do this as a weekly Bible study

Day One: Experience
Read the entire devotion. Do any verses stand out to you? If so, write it down and work on memorizing it over the week. I personally love the app “Scripture Typer.”

Day Two: Observe & Read
Chain. Look up and chain verses (For example on how to chain verses, see this video).

Day Three: Interpret
Read through the chain of verses starting with the first one. What do they say? Do you notice when it says “never” or “always” or “If, but, however, therefore, all…..”

Day Four: Application
Do “Your turn” and make a list of people that God has put on your heart when you read this.

Day Five: Testify
Who in your life, right now, can you share this with? There is somebody in your life that needs to hear this. Close your eyes. What name came to mind?
