Bible verses about the power of God
“The LORD is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail. But the unjust knows no shame…
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans… for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared… I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths.
When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble…for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”
Zephaniah 3:5; Proverbs 16:3, 3:26, 4:11-12; Psalm 107:9
Bible verses about the power of God
Before the beginning of all time, God was at work for you.
Everything He has done and everything He does is for you, for others, and for His kingdom … for your good and in your best interests.
God is the Almighty multi-tasker.
There is nothing you face or will face that He has not already laid out a path for you to follows.
If you follow His path for you, you will experience success – peace – and phenomenal joy.
You need never worry if God is on task.
He is, and in fact, the final plans are in immovable place.
This is your hope.
This is a done deal.
Count on it!
Your turn …
Sit quietly and list out everything and God means every single thing you need help with.
Now one by one, write out ‘My God is at work! My God has this handled! I need only trust and obey’.
Now make this a habit and get on with living.
Get on with following His plan for your life … your treasure map.
Follow it!
Do not deviate.
Enjoy!
Now come and pray …
“In You, LORD, my God, I put my trust. I trust in You; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.
No one who hopes in You will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.
Show me Your ways, LORD, teach Me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.”
Psalm 25:1-5
My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working…I foretold the former things long ago, My mouth announced them, and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
John 5:17; Isaiah 48:3
How to do this as a weekly Bible study
Day One: Experience
Read the entire devotion. Do any verses stand out to you? If so, write it down and work on memorizing it over the week. I personally love the app “Scripture Typer.”
Day Two: Observe & Read
Chain. Look up and chain verses (For example on how to chain verses, see this video).
Day Three: Interpret
Read through the chain of verses starting with the first one. What do they say? Do you notice when it says “never” or “always” or “If, but, however, therefore, all…..”
Day Four: Application
Do “Your turn” and make a list of people that God has put on your heart when you read this.
Day Five: Testify
Who in your life, right now, can you share this with? There is somebody in your life that needs to hear this. Close your eyes. What name came to mind?
Would you like to get more involved in the beLydia Movement?
Parents and friends, there are kids being sold for sex right now and they are still going to school and their parents have no idea.
They are being tricked, (often through social media and texting apps) into sharing compromising photos and then trapped into selling more or are tricked into having sex.
WE CAN PREVENT THIS THROUGH SHARING AWARENESS.
