How to completely avoid the wrong path–finding your path in life.

Have you ever taken the wrong path?

Yes, you may have gone the wrong road. You may have made a big mistake.

You may be in need of a fresh start. The world cannot give it to you. The world keeps count and readily reminds you every time of past errors.

God doesn’t do fresh starts that way.

He keeps His word and when God gives you a fresh start … it is new and pristine and the past is wiped away.

All you have to do is turn to Him, repent, and believe…then be off again. The quicker you return, the easier for you and the more joyful for the Father.

Your turn …

You don’t need to make a list. Just come and confess in quiet and receive His holy do-over.

Do this as often as is needed. Father God will always receive you gently and lovingly.

Do not ever hesitate again.

He is waiting patiently for you.

Rest in His promise … “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

Now sweet child, continue to joyfully pray …

“I will praise You, LORD, with all my heart; before the “gods” I will sing Your praise. I will bow down toward Your holy temple and will praise Your Name for Your unfailing love and Your faithfulness, for You have so exalted Your solemn decree that it surpasses Your fame. When I called, You answered me; You greatly emboldened me. Though the LORD is exalted, He looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, He sees them from afar. And, though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life. You stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes; with Your right hand, You save me. The LORD will vindicate me; Your love, LORD, endures forever—do not abandon the works of Your hands.”

“Even now,” declares the LORD, “return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning…Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near… Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”

How to do this as a weekly Bible study

Day One: Experience
Read the entire devotion. Do any verses stand out to you? If so, write it down and work on memorizing it over the week. I personally love the app “Scripture Typer.”

Day Two: Observe & Read
Chain. Look up and chain verses (For example on how to chain verses, see this video).

Day Three: Interpret
Read through the chain of verses starting with the first one. What do they say? Do you notice when it says “never” or “always” or “If, but, however, therefore, all…..”

Day Four: Application
Do “Your turn” and make a list of people that God has put on your heart when you read this.

Day Five: Testify
Who in your life, right now, can you share this with? There is somebody in your life that needs to hear this. Close your eyes. What name came to mind?
