Step 1. Preparation Doesn’t Have to Be Hard
To prepare for a Home Gathering, simply choose a date and invite others. No really, it is that simple. We provide you with all of the material for steps 2-4 in your hospitality kit.
As any good host, providing a few snacks and drinks for your guests are encouraged as a Home Host, because let’s be honest, no one can concentrate when they are hungry. But no need to go all fancy…remember, this is about connection and helping these women to make a bigger impact in the world…and you don’t need fancy tablecloths or gold-plated flatware to do it.
Step 2. Get Your Education On
Women want to be a part of the change when it comes to human trafficking, but many times they know very little about it, or maybe the extent of what they’ve heard has been the minimal amount of coverage you see in the nightly news.

Next, you’ll want to discuss how your guests can prevent human trafficking — if they weren’t 100% convinced using the details given to them in the education portion of the evening, I’ve found that this is where you can really hit home as there’s been a 36% increase in U.S. human trafficking since 2016 and many of them involve children like their own or the ones they adore within their families or communities.

Step 4. Rally for the Movement
The last part of your Home Gathering will be rallying your tribe for effective change. By this point, most people are incredibly intrigued and ready to fight the good fight.
